In 2001, Jermaine Dupri was feeling himself more than Pee Wee Herman in a nudie bar, and stated in an article with XXL that he was the best beat maker around, saying that Dr. Dre and Timbaland weren't good enough to turn on and off the lights in his studio (or something like that). Dre responded by calling Dupri “Mini Me” and saying he would step on the pint sized producer while JD jumped on a few diss tracks with lackluster lines like, “I know you don't do half the work in the studio, plus you like letting ninjas play in your booty hole.” Ok, that was funny. But at the end of the day, fans were just wishing they would go back to making fire beats and leave the rapping to the professionals.
