You have probably heard LMFAO’s ubiquitous hit “Party Rock Anthem” sometime in your life. The tune has gotten too much damn radio play, sold almost 10 million digital copies worldwide in 2011 alone, appeared in Kia commercials and earned the odd dressing RedFoo and SkyBlu millions of dollars in the process. But now the duo, who have plenty of other hits (like the Barack Obama fav “S-xy And I Know It”) is beefing over money, reports the New York Post.

It seems this family affair (RedFoo, who besides being Motown founder Berry Gordy’s son is also SkyBlu’s uncle) has been at odds over the proper distribution of their revenue and have even been booking separate DJ appearances. “Redfoo has always been promoting himself, doing his own thing,” an anonymous source told the Post. Turns out the elder Gordy has been banking $100,000 a night DJ gigs while his 11 years younger nephew hasn’t been seeing that type of dough. Say what you will about their rhymes skills, suspect attire or hella annoying songs (they did a “Sorry For Party Rockin,” also a hit), struggle rappers never see that type of coin. LMFAO is scheduled to perform on American Idol tonight.

Okay, you can go back to not caring now.
