Wired 25: The 25 Most Important People In Hip-Hop Under 25
Mac Miller: 20, January 19, 1992
Following much of the same formula that his Rostrum Records labelmate, Wiz Khalifa, had laid down, Mac Miller has made himself a top draw. While many Hip-Hop purists may have their own feelings on Mac's content, the bottom line is Miller has sold out concerts all across the country, inked a deal with Mountain Dew, and has the highest selling first week independent album in Hip-Hop history with Blue Slide Park. Mac has the ability and appeal to dominate Pop charts in the future in the same vein that Pitbull, B.o.B., and Wiz Khalifa have.
