Bronx rapper Fat Joe has made hits both as a major label recording artist and independently. So the man who discovered Big Pun figures he’s as good candidate as anybody to one run a major record label. “I would want eventually to run a real label,” Fat Joe tells Hip-Hop Wired. “Like a Capitol, Atlantic, be a president of a label. Because we been independent the last three albums…we do some amazing things for being three, four deep in a staff. Just imagine if I had the right finances the right funding behind it to really blow something out.”

In the second clip (page 2), Joe Crack talks about how he balances dropping records for the street, like his The Darkside Vol 2 mixtape, with making records for the ladies.
