This is record (as in vinyl) p0rn. FUSE caught with legendary Hip-Hop producer Pete Rock in his crib to take a look at his massive wax collection, which he ballparks at about 100,000 deep. In his Crate Diggers episode the Chocolate Boy wonder goes through a bunch of his most cherished records, included an OG Skull Snaps record and the Tom Scott record he sampled for “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.).”

Speaking of which, the f-ckery over Lupe Fiasco’s much debated remake (“Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)”) of the Pete Rock & CL Smooth classic continues with the Mr. Vernon native commenting on the tongue lashing [||] the Chicago rapper sent his way. Pete even offered that he over reacted when he initially slandered Lupe’s song on twitter.

“At that point, my emotions were working — I’m still thinking about Heavy D and Troy is a dear friend to me, and my emotions got the best of me, and I expressed myself on Twitter,” Pete Rock told MTV News. “It wasn’t my intention to hurt Lupe’s career or his producer’s career,” he said, explaining that he agreed to let the beat be reused as long as he was involved with his project. “I thought from that point I would be involved with Lupe and being in the studio, tweaking the beat, but I never heard from the record label, and then I turn on the radio, and hear it on the radio.”
