Game & 40 Glocc Give Separate Recounts Of Altercation In L.A. [AUDIO]
The ongoing battle between Game and 40 Glocc is far from over. Less than a week after 40 was (allegedly) attacked by Game and his crew, both rappers gave conflicting stories of what actually went down. In two separate interviews with Power 99's Cosmic Kev, Game and 40 recounted the night in question.
According to Game, it all started at a party in Hollywood, Calif., where he saw 40. Rather than acknowledge him initially, he decided to lay low. “I turn back and I see him, but I said ‘If he sees that I see him he's probably gonna jump over the gate,' so I pretended to talk to the people I was with and turn my back to him.” Game also denied having a huge crew at his side. “He was with more people than I was, if we rat packed him, we rat packed him, and that didn't happen.”
Despite 40's reputation for being involved in numerous altercations, Game painted a decidedly different picture. “He threw up both hands, and he said ‘Naw, naw,' and after he said that I was frozen because I thought he was a real g, at that point he started reaching in his pocket like he had a weapon, when he seen that he ran off.” After allegedly losing his footing, and tripping over his own shoes, 40 caught a vicious two-piece. “By the time he gathered himself, I was on his a-- Kev,” Game continued. “I gave him a left to the rib cage, a right to the rib cage and then he hit this wooden piece with his face. He got up and I punched him again and knocked him down.”
From there, Game had an epiphany and decided to turn the situation into a WorldStarHipHop viral sensation. Being that he had no desire to hurt 40 too badly, Game allowed him to at least attempt to hold is own. “What I wanted to do what beat his a-- like I wanted to without really like putting him in a position where he was a vegetable or something like that.”
After the fight, Game said he jumped in a car and fled the scene, while another one of his associates went at 40—the tape of which will hit the ‘Net tomorrow.
As for 40, during his interview he accused Game of jumping him, and skewing the video. “Don't go make no footage like you just punching me and I'm scared to swing back at you and all this,” he said. “Keep the real out there if you gon' put it out there like that's the real! At the end of the day, the dummy award goes to him.”
By the end of the interview 40 accused Game of turning the melee into a publicity stunt, called him a “fairy,” and denied running away from the former G-Unit rapper—despite the fact that the video shows him running.
Somewhere in between both recounts is the true story, one which the Hip-Hop world may never know.
