2 Chainz recently sat down with VIBE  to explain the inspiration behind his debut album’s cover. The “RIOT” rapper expressed why he feels the rather basic artwork will go on to be recognized as one of the best album covers.

The Duffle Bag Boy also explains how he attempted to subconsciously brainwash the masses by rocking black and gold, leading up to the release of his cover. The cover itself was created 2-3 months prior to its release, according to the G.O.O.D Music affiliate.  Literally a month away from his major label release, Chainz confidence in the quality of his album is evident throughout the interview.
