Life is damn good for Nas right now. The Queensbridge rapper’s 10th album, Life Is Good, debuts at number one and he continued its strong promotional campaign last night with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Dressed simply, save for the jewelry in HD, in a t-shirt and jeans, the natural born lyricist performed “The Don” and “Nasty” with backing from a live band (Z) and with DJ Green Lantern on the wheels of steel. “Thank you for making us number one once again,” said Nas before going into “Nasty.”

Big up to God’s Son for not phoning it in and simply rapping over the tracks like most rappers do these days. Watch “The Don” after the break and “Nasty” on the next page.
