Remixing music is a large part of the rap game, in fact were it not for flipping old records,  Sean “Diddy” Combs may not have a career, but 2 Chainz is not down with the trend. One day after tweeting about his “No Lie” single going gold, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper used to social networking site to slam everyone who has the nerve to put a new spin on his music. “Everybody alwayz REMIX my songs. how bout u lazy artists, try 2kom up wit sumthn original, instead of replacing my words wit urs. MUSIC is fun.”

His words are a direct hit at the likes of Wiz Khalifa who recently remixed his Drake-assissted single, as pointed out by the good folks over at Rap-Up. Roscoe Dash, and Millz also jumped on the “No Lie” bandwagon both trying their hand at covering the song.

Regardless of his anger towards his rap peers, the  single is a major look for the 35-year-old. Released in May, the track peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs charts, while the music video has clocked more than six million views on YouTube, in just  over the month.

Additionally, “No Lie” has given 2 Chainz more fuel as he preps the release of his Based On a T.R.U. Story debut which is set to drop next month.

At the end of the day imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so maybe 2 Chainz shouldn’t be so upset.
