Say it ain’t so. Back in April 2012, Havoc sent out slanderous tweets aimed at his Mobb Deep co-d Prodigy, basically alleging that P was into dudes (not that there’s anything wrong with that, word to Frank Ocean) and would be blessed with the fade on sight. The producer of such classics as “Shook Ones Part II” and “Quiet Storm” eventually denied that he sent the tweets, claiming that his cell phone had been stolen and even going on The Breakfast Club and sticking to his suspect story. However, the production half of the Infamous recently spoke to Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur of AllHipHop and admitted sending out the tweets.

“Well, the tweets was crazy. I believe that Twitter is not a place to resolve any kind of beef you have with anybody,” explained the Queensbridge rapper. “I just would have to say that those are the reasons why I retracted my statement, because I had love for the fans.”

Havoc added, “I was speaking from a standpoint where I was mad, but still being truthful with how I felt but it was just the wrong thing to do at that time. Because it was just out of nowhere; that’s what people thought. I think that was irresponsible at the time.”

Watch the full clip, where Hav says that Mobb Deep is on “hiatus” and speaks of the real story coming out soon in the clip below.
