Smooth isn’t a worthy adjective for Willie The Kid‘s latest track, “Marina.” As mellow as the title implies, listeners should head to the nearest boat-filled dock while sporting their finest linens before playing this aloud to get the full experience.

The track’s production can be credited to VDon, who provided the soundscape for Willie The Kid and Fellow Michigan wordsmith Jon Connor, who provides some tongue-twisting bars of his own on the track. It’s hard to say who got the best of who lyrically, which doesn’t happen very often these days.

No shots, of course.

“Marina” will appear on Willie The Kid’s upcoming mixtape, Aquamarine. It’s great to see more product from the Michigan MC, who dropped his Dilla Forever mixtape in February.

Check out the track after the jump.
