Every rapper with a solid reputation has their own camp. In the case of Roc Nation’s J. Cole, the North Carolina’s rapper’s crew is calleded Dreamville, and a member with his eyes set on his own rap prize is named Bas. Sudanese but born in Paris and raised in Queens, the MC drops a single called “The Season,” featuring sharp bars over a snappy, drum packed track produced by Jermaine Cole himself.

Bas has been on tour with Cole and plans on releasing a new project called Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. II in September that will include production from J.Cole, Elite, Omen and Ced Brown along with  French producers BBP, OGeehandz, and Ji Ahmadeuss.

Listen to Das’ “The Season” after the break and let us know what you think about this new rhyme prospect.
