Newcomer Nemo gives listeners a steady balance of talking ish and bestowing enlightenment on “Elevator Music.” Prepare to take a trip down memory lane, as the visuals show a host of nostalgic cut scenes and other remnants of a typical childhood.

Don’t let the back in the days imagery take your focus aways from Nemo’s rhymes, though. The kid can spit. Throughout the track he displays witty word play like “They got to be moving ki’s, n-gga we move degrees/3.5’s, 3.5’s aint no gram talk/Suma Cum Laude GPA brothers stand tall/FAmU, Morehouse, A&T, Grambling/All about that Howard and still give it up to Hampton.”

Shout out to the HBCU love by the way. Honestly, you can’t hate on any talented MC challenging us to us become lobbyists, pharmacists and economists.

Check out the Daniel St. Ours & Jimmy Bishop directed video (with additional camera work by Bernard Feinsod) after the jump.
