If you couldn't make it to Philly this past weekend for Jay-Z's “Made In America” festival chances are you were in New Jersey at PNC Bank Arts Center for the "Rock The Bells" festival. The yearly festival is a Hip-Hop head's dream with two days of nothing but pure, unadulterated Hip-Hop acts gracing two separate stages throughout the day and night.
This year's acts included but were not limited to Nas, Lauryn Hill, 2 Chainz, Wu-Block, Method Man, Redman, Jadakiss, Common, J. Cole, Future, Action Bronson, DMX, Eve, Slaughterhouse, and many more with special guests. Noticeably absent from the Jersey stop were Big Sean and French Montana, who likely felt their presence was more needed in Philly, as well as Chief Keef. Regardless, the show still went on, adjustments were made and few complained thanks to the performers present quickly helped people forget all about the no-shows.
A highlight of the festival was Nass performance as he brought Scarface and Lauryn Hill, which made the crowd go crazy. Check out photos from the day in the gallery below.
