RZA stays busy. The Wu-Tang Clan’s Abbott announces that he will be heading on the “Iron Fists” Tour during the month of October. According to Prefix, starting in New York City on October 3rd and concluding in Los Anglelese on October 24th, the national tour will coincide with the promotion of his feature film directorial debut, The Man With The Iron Fists. The tour is in conjunction with Guerilla Union and Rock The Bells and will include screenings of the martial arts flick.
The movie stars Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung and Lucy Liu, as well as RZA, and its soundtrack, featuring Kanye West, Black Keys, Flatbush Zombies and more, is out October 23rd. Also on RZA’s fall schedule is executive producing a new album from his old roommate Ghostface Killah called 12 Reasons To Die which is due out November 20th. Both of the aforementioned projects will be released on RZA’s new Soul Temple Records label. The Man With The Iron Fists is now due in theaters November 2nd.
