Imprisoned rapper, Max B, called up Statik Selektah's Show Off Radio show last night and talked to fans for more than 15 minutes. Max B, real name Charly Wingate, talked about his Pardon The Wave movement, which you can visit here to sign the petition. Aside from updating the fans on his current situation in prison, he talked about how happy he was to hear French Montana in the radio as well as the music he listens to while locked down. "I'm glad I can inspire a lot of artist out there man, even if they got my sound in their joint," Max told Statik. "People pay homage, so you know it 's all love, you heard?"
His manager and wife also joined the lovely Valerie Lora on the show and spoke about Jay-Z's mention of the wavy one on Rick Ross' "3 Kings" record with Dr. Dre. "I heard the joint on the radio, I caught it. It was good money. It was an honor to have Hov shout a n***a out and acknowledge me," mentions Max. "The video was even better look cause that solidified me."
