Jay-Z Debuts New Verse At Barclays Center Concert [VIDEO]
Jay-Z's opening concert at the Barclay's Center was a moment, this is not up for debate. Read our review here to see what you missed or will have to look forward to if you plan on attending the seven remaining shows. Going acapella, Hova debuted a new verse, dropping a stunt filled bar or two to hearty cheers from the crowd.
"This is Rich Porter, part two/You can stunt like that when you're rich before your debut," spit Hova.
"Money and the murder, rapper or the trapper/Either way I'm gonna serve ya/Shooters on my team… No really, I got shooters on my team/Juan or Deron/How you ni--as want it, pick a arm/They call me Lucky Lefty/Ball so hard I don't respect the f-ckin' referees."
No word on where the full song those lines are taken from will appear. But Jay-Z definitely has a new album in works. While previewing Watch The Throne last year, Jigga revealed that while working on said album's Frank Ocean collab ["No Church For The Wild"] the pair also created a song for his own project.
Although he told reporters not to expect any guests, last night Big Daddy Kane performed a few classic cuts for the crowd, too. The next Jay-Z headlining Barclays Center concert goes down tonight, Saturday, September 29th at 8pm. Watch the freestyle below.
