Skyzoo releases the official “Jansport Strings” remix, which features none other than the infamous, recently freed Chi-Ali. This collaboration is a dream come true for Skyzoo, who dedicated the original track to the Bronx rapper, citing “Age Ain’t Nothin’ But A Number” as the inspiration for his own career. The Brooklyn MC captured some behind the scenes footage of he and Ali’s encounters in the studio.
“Jansport Strings” is the Native Tongue MC’s first appearance on wax since being released from a 12-year prison sentence in August. Skyzoo’s forthcoming album, A Dream Deferred, releases tomorrow, October 2nd, on his new imprint The Faculty Inc, a label deal with Duck Down Music.
