It’s been a wild week for Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, this after a video surfaced showing the YMCMB diva uttering some colorful words to the celebrated pop singer during auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday.

The newest American Idol judges have been reportedly at odds with each other even before their official first day on the gig, and Minaj is said to be upset about the brouhaha leaking to the press. Cee-Lo Green, a celebrity judge on NBC program The Voice, isn’t buying it and seems to think the whole beef between Carey and Barbz is all smoke and mirrors.

TMZ caught up with the Goodie Mob rapper and famed vocalist after lunch and Cee-Lo weighed in on the war of divas as it were. “This is Hollywood, California. Hardly anything’s legit,” offered Cee-Lo succinctly as he was flanked by his security and media detail.

Working on a similar, competition-based reality program to Idol, Cee-Lo was asked if his Voice crew felt threatened by the added firepower and ratings boost the Fox program is sure to garner with folks hoping for an on-air catfight (we’ve already hoped for it, sorry guys). “I’m not intimidated. I think it’s entertainment for everybody, is it not?” quipped Cee-Lo Green.

It certainly is, sir.
