If the West Coast Cypher from this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards didn’t adequately prove that Kurupt still has the lyrical gift of gab, then “Money (Do It For Me)” should quiet any additional naysayers. This quintessential left coast track features the classic G-Funk feel made popular by Dr. Dre during the Death Row era. Former label mate RBX adds some color to the track with additional vocals.

“Money” provides a listening experience that feels  incomplete without a low rider on gold Daytons. Nevertheless, the Gangsta Rap number should serve as a precursor for Kurupt’s DJ Nik Bean-hosted mixtape, Money B-tches Power, which drops November 7th. The project will feature E-40, Masta Killa, Crooked I and more.
