Yesterday, Lil Wayne reportedly suffered from seizure like symptoms that forced the private jet he was travelling on to land in Texas so the YMCMB rapper could be taken to the hospital. However, Weezy’s management has released a statement that reveals that it was allegedly dehydration and a severe migraine that caused him to seek emergency medical attention.

“Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration,” reads the official statement. “He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”

Yesterday, Weezy was taken to a local Texas hospital and was released a few hours later. TMZ reports that it was the plane’s pilot that said the “6′ 7″” rapper suffered a seizure.

Lately, Weezy has been spotted singing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” at a MLB playoff game, opening a skate park in his native New Orleans and telling MTV News that he has recorded around 90 songs with Dr. Dre.

Lil Wayne’s forthcoming album, I Am Not a Human Being II, is due in stores in December.
