Post-Election Struggle: Karl Rove & Donald Trump Go Crazy Over Obama Win [PHOTO/VIDEO]
Judging by the reactions on live television and social media sites, about the only person able to swallow the pill of partisan defeat Tuesday (Nov. 6) night was Mitt Romney.
The Republican presidential hopeful took his time conceding a loss to President Obama but once he accepted reality, he made his departure without so much as a pensive shrug.
While Romney kept his cool in the public eye, other conservatives weren't able to fight the urge to keep their emotions at bay.
Donald Trump continued his quest to embarrass New York, and the human race, with another ridiculous, yet expected, Twitter rant. His online diarrhea earned him the dubious honor of being New York magazine's "Most Unhinged Conservative."
Gaining no new fans Trump has turned everyone away by being (as New York magazine puts it) "the world's most celebrated village idiot."
Another member of the overreacting crew was Saturday Night Live alum, Victoria Jackson tweeting that she couldn't "stop crying," and that the outcome of the election meant that "America died."
Over on Fox News, Karl Rove downright refused to acknowledge that Obama won the election, up until the very last second. Even after the network declared him the victor, Rove stood in solidarity with the Romney camp's original stance, by waiting for final tallies in Ohio.
By night's end, everyone— regardless of their political views— dealt with President Obama winning the election in their own special way.
