Karl Rove is slowly but surely losing his damn mind. The GOP political strategist who did a fine job of helping George W. Bush get elected twice clearly just can't fathom that Barack Obama was actually elected to a second term. Now he has gone as far as to say that the POTUS used a tried and true right-wing tactic, suppressing voters.
Rove was on FOX News' America Live program spewing his malarkey. "The President succeeded by suppressing the vote," said Rove. "By saying to people, you may not like who I am and I know you can't bring yourself to vote for me, but i'm gonna to paint this other guy as simply a rich guy who only cares about himself."
What Rove won't mention during his rants is the real reason behind his ire. The Super PACs he is a part of invested about $300 million into Mitt Romney's campaign, including $100 million in attack ads against Obama. Conflict of interest much?
Also, just before Rove lost his ish and swore up and down that the news channel he worked for called the state of Ohio too early for Obama, he was on the phone with Romney's campaign.
So yeah, take anything that comes out of this guy's mouth with a heaping spoonful of salt and ask him, "You mad?"
