Saigon is skilled in the lyrical department so it makes sense that he cares greatly about the substance of music. Hailing from the borough of Queens, and boasting a small reputation for beef, the rapper visited Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club and said that he would punch Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, and anybody else making music that he feels is detrimental.
“I would punch everybody man,” he said after proclaiming that his fighting days were behind him. “Rick Ross, 2 Chainz…everybody who's putting [out] detrimental music [out] for children. These companies market the music to children, and ya'll know that.”
Aside from threatening violence on said artists, Saigon suggested that music with adult content be separated from all other releases. “The same thing you put on a p-rno. You know when you go in a movie store a p-rno section has it's own little section? Do that for this music because it's marketed to children and we know that.”
In defense of the music industry, parental advisory stickers are placed over releases with adult content, but Saigon's theory takes it to another level.
Also, who still goes to a video store to rent movies?
