Joe Biden’s appeal has no color lines. Biden hit up a Costco in northeast Washington, D.C. Thursday (Nov. 29), and all the Black people in the vicinity were drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
Cashing in on the opportunity to get a photo-op, stock up on some free samples, and eat some pies, Biden flashed his Costco card, and set out on a quest around the discount store. “I’m looking for pies,” he announced.
The trip wasn’t all fun and games, the vice president also spoke on the fiscal cliff, and fixing the economy. “We have a lot we have to settle, but there’s one thing we should all agree on and that’s the middle-class tax cut should be made permanent. I think it’s important Congress acts now, I mean right now,” Biden said.
He also pretended not to pose for pictures with tons of overjoyed Black workers, and shoppers crowding around him.
