Before T.I. began releasing cuts like the Cee-Lo-assisted “Hello” and “Ball” to establish radio presence for Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, he reaffirmed his street presence with the under appreciated street jam “Trap Back Jumpin’.” Today, Tip released a short-film for the DJ Toomp produced track that introduces viewers to a day in the life of a Bankhead kingpin.

The Clifton Bell-directed visuals clock in at just over 10 minutes, segueing scenes of street activity throughout the track’s booming soundscape. Fellow westside Atlanta native and star of cult classic film, Snow In Da Bluff, Curtis Snow also appears in the visuals.

Tip’s portrayal of an articulate gangster is on point in the film. He’s more Bumpy Johnson than run of the mill hood figure, though, having recently launched the “Give Like A King” campaign to aid homeless veterans.

Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head hits shelves December 18th. Expect appearances from Andre 3000, Meek Mill, Ke$ha, and more on the project.
