The incomparable GLC keeps his grind going in 2012 with another new mixtape this year hilariously titled, Silence Of The Lames.
The follow up to GLC’s latest effort, The Anti-Simp , Cathedral, and Eternal Sunshine of The Pimpin Mind. The Chicago rapper recruits a slew of rappers for this new effort including Treated Crew, Chevy Woods, Cory Mo, Bun B, Shawn Chrystopher, Really Doe and many more.
Production is provided by Omen, Blended Babies, Xcel, Drum Gang, Iyeball and many more. At first glance, GLC keeps the theme of awesomely animated mixtape covers, dating back to his last stellar tape, The Anti-Simp.
The former G.O.O.D. Music affiliate out of Chicago isn’t one of the first rappers people thing of when you think of the new hotbed of Chicago music, but this veteran isn’t one to be slept on. His last couple of mixtapes have all been solid, and if this is any indication of the past, GLC will be on.
