YMCMB rapper Busta Rhymes and G.O.O.D. Music rapper Q-Tip decide to sling bars over Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice” instrumental. The interesting part is that Busta uses it to recount shooting his OG “What’s It Gonna Be” video with Janet Jackson while the Abstract waxes lyrical about shooting a scene with her for the actual Poetic Justice film, where he played her doomed boyfriend.

“Janet, why you doing this to me, at the time I couldn’t believe we was starring in this movie/You in my video, ya know a ni–a love it, I spent 2.4 million on the f-cking budget,” spits Busta Rhymes over the melodic, Scoop Deville produced track.

After the Dungeon Dragon finishes his verse he expresses how he felt a ways that Q-Tip got to kick it with Mr. Jackson on the film’s set, and the A Tribe Called Quest frontman verbally sprints down memory lane, too. “Shorty was the joint, here’s my case and point me and Pac rolling Ls in the trailer, both of us steady scheming how to nail her,  first movie ’bout to come out in the theater,” kicks Kamal.

This is just ridiculously dope. Listen to and download the Native Tongue flavored “Poetic Justice (Freestyle),” which will appear on Busta’s The Conglomerate’s Catastrophic mixtape, below.
