If Hip-Hop had an award for most playalistic tunes, King Chip would definitely be a consistent nominee. Today, the Cleveland rapper makes another case for himself with a new track titled “Deion Sanders.”

The opening line, “King Chip, extra fresh/ Put that on my momma ‘nem,” sets the tone for an influx of his patented braggadocios talk. What should one expect from a track named after one of the gaudiest athletes ever?

Sledgren and Chip handled the production on “Deion Sanders,” which features a vocal sample from the late, great Chad “Pimp C” Butler. And let the Pimp tell it, “Yall n–gas got the game f–ked up.” King Chip, formally known as Chip The Ripper, has been omnipresent as of late and with good reasoning, apparently. Notable feature verses on Kid Cudi’s “Just What Iam,” Travi$ Scott’s “Old English,” and The Game’s “Church” are building anticipation for Chip’s forthcoming mixtape, CLEVELAFORNIA.

At the moment the project has no set date, but the quality of “Deion Sanders” and the smooth Cardo-produced track “Ask a Baby” look like a sign of great things to come. Get a listen of “Deion Sanders” below.
