We’re going to approach this one slowly.

West Coast veteran The Game has a penchant for the outlandish that’s just as proficient as his ability to make really solid music.  For his feature-heavy fifth album, Jesus Piece, Game took the title of the record to new heights after bringing out a white man depicting Jesus Christ onto the stage at the House of Blue in Los Angeles – who then ceremoniously laid Game’s chain around his neck. Whoa.

The irony of the moment may have been lost on some who never saw the actual chain, but it is one gaudy piece of work. The diamond-studded chain, featuring a large medallion figurine of Jesus also wearing a “Jesus piece,” has made its rounds on the Internets in recent weeks. The Compton rapper had more surprises in store at last night’s release jam. After bringing out the “Son Of Man,” the “Celebration” rapper brought out Tyler, The Creator, DJ Quik, Tyga, Mac Miller and R&B vocalist Tank.

Speaking of the aforementioned “Celebration,” Game thrilled the audience by bringing out the silver-tongued Bone Thugs-N-Harmony for the remix of the track that set the entire venue on fire at the close of his set. A quick look at Game’s Twitter feed features retweets of fans that were thrilled by the performance and impressed by the backing band as well.

But what we want to know, did Jesus spit any bars last night too? Watch Jesus put a Jesus piece on Game below and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony tear the spot down on the next page.
