Azealia Banks can’t get along with anybody. After much publicized spats with numerous rappers and personalities, she might have ruffled the feathers of something she can’t beat. GLAAD.

After a war of words between Banks and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Banks called the openly gay personality a “messy fa**ot” on Twitter. “A fa**ot is not a homosexual male. A fa**ot is any male who acts like a female. There’s a BIG difference,” she tweeted to clarify her statements, but the damage might have been done.

Banks, who has a huge Gay and Lesbian following, has drawn the ire of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

“Banks’ claim that the word “fa**ot” does not mean a gay male is not true,” a representative wrote on the organization’s website. “Regardless of her intent or her personal definition, what matters is the meaning given to that word by those who hear it, and the damage it causes when they do.

“Undoubtedly there are gay kids who follow her on Twitter who hear this word in an entirely different context. This word is used almost universally by bullies, often as part of a larger verbal or physical assault. This word hurts those kids, no matter what Banks meant by it.”

Banks is also in the middle of another war of words with rapper Angel Haze and has been in numerous social media altercations with Nicki Minaj, Jim Jones, Iggy Azalea and more.
