The hard-hitting drums and hi-hats ring off on this new Rockie Fresh track featuring Lunice of TNGHT, titled “Superman OG.” The 21-year old MC’s collaboration with the Montreal based producer follows the mold set by earlier connections with Good Charlotte’s Madden Brothers and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump.

One thing’s certain; Rockie Fresh brings the best out of a producer, despite their genre of expertise. Why do you think Ricky Rozay signed him?

The soundscape perfectly compliments the ish talk the Chicago rapper spews on the track. Cite “Y’all n****s Dr. Scholls/ Y’all about to see defeat” as proof.

“Superman” will appear on Rockie Fresh’s long awaited Electric Highway mixtape, finally set to release January 21. It’s about time, considering tracks like the Rick Ross-assisted “You a Lie (Remix)” made the Internets privy to the project last summer. From the sound of “Superman,” Rockie Fresh has been slow cooking a sonically marvelous body of work, that may be well worth the wait.

Fans will have to wait a few more days to hear the tape in its entirety, but the full track can be found below.
