Talib Kweli blesses up with a pair of new records from his forthcoming Prisoner Of Conscious album. “Art Imitates Life” features Black Thought and Rah Digga while “One Two” features Jae Millz and Oh No.

“Art Imitates Life” is lyrics upon lyrics upon lyrics over a string laced and drum filled track. “Tired of saying I’m the best, I won’t waste another breath/Heard lyrics coming back, I sayit never left, spits Rah Digga who trumped her male counterparts on this one.

As for “One Two,” if you thought Kweli rocking with a YMCMB rapper is strange; why? Jae Millz gets busy and Oh No represents as well on a groovy number that includes some funky horns.

Kweli recently revealed that Prisoner Of Conscious will now be in stores April 23 via his own Javotti Media and features Melanie Fiona, Kendrick Lamar, Curren$y, Nelly, Busta Rhymes and more.

Listen to “Art Imitates Life” below and “One Two” on the next page. Also, if the spirit moves you, support Kweli and cop both records off iTunes right here.
