Music journalism is changing everyday. With the evolution of the media continuing every day, print publications are moving closer and closer to extinction.

One of the latest casualties of the evolution of media is the suspension of the print publication, SPIN. Shortly before the holidays hit, subscribers of the magazine were given a letter that the publication would be moving exclusively online and their subscriptions would be replaced with future issues of Car & Driver Magazine.

Although SPIN got it's notoriety through covering Rock and Pop acts, they did gain access and cover Hip-Hop artists just as well. From their many Eminem covers to their tributes to the Beastie Boys and the Notorious B.I.G., to their recent striking covers of Odd Future and Waka Flocka Flame; they did manage to have some of the most memorable covers in popular culture.

Although the magazine will live on through it's revered online format, there is still truly nothing like holding a magazine in your hand isn't it? Ironically, lets look back in digital form at some of the most memorable print issues of SPIN featuring Hip-Hop artists .
