It’s about time. Jerry Seinfeld is getting in the studio to work with Wale on his new album reportedly titled Nothing.

Wale’s breakout mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing, was inspired by the classic situation comedy and featured clips from the show throughout. He followed up a few years later with More About Nothing which also featured clips from Seinfeld. Now it seems that Mr. Folarin’s second album under Maybach Music Group will get help from the stand-up comedian who inspired much of his work.

“Wale called me and came to my show, we hung out for a little bit, and he wanted me to do something with him. I didn’t understand it but he did,” said Seinfeld. Then I kind of liked the guy adn dug the guy and then I listened to the music and I liked the music so I said alright I’ll do it even though I didn’t know what I was going to do. I told my wife I’m doing something with this guy Wale and she says ‘Wale is my favorite Hip-Hop artists anywhere, I have every single thing.’ Somehow she missed anything that had to do with me, but has every other cut. Everything else he’s done.”

In a classic Seinfeld tone, he then quips: “It’s unbelievable, she’s into him, he’s into me and I had no idea about the whole thing.”
