Music has been G.O.O.D. all this week, following a wave kickstarted by Pusha T's Wrath Of Caine. And just two days later, the Internets receive CyHi The Prynce's long awaited mixtape Ivy League: Kick Back.
Since dropping a staggering verse on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy cut "So Appalled," Hip-Hop lovers have been confused about CyHi's place in the G.O.O.D. Music fold. Some have even denoted him as a ghost writer for the head honcho.
The Atlanta MC spent the last few months building anticipation for the project with new tracks like "Favorite Things," "Far Removed" and most recently "Whoa," with hopes to quiet the whispers and to establish himself as a complete artist.
CyHi diligently selected features on the tape, giving priority to a few ATL brethren, including 2 Chainz, Travis Porter, and B.O.B. He also has guest verses from Smoke DZA, Childish Gambino, Trae Tha Truth, Big K.R.I.T., Yelawolf and more. Aside from notable producers Lex Luger and Beat Billionaire, the list of beatsmiths on Ivy League: Kick Back are relatively unknown, but quality nonetheless.
Ivy League: Kick Back, hosted by DJ Holiday, stands at a whopping 22 tracks. The project can be streamed and downloaded below. Let us know if you're feeling it in the comments section.
