French Montana has been hard at work with his debut album under Interscope Records, Excuse My French.

While artists usually set high expectations for their albums, Frenchy doesn’t pull any punches with how he feels his record will be received by the public. “I feel like it’s going to be a classic,” French told Rap-Up while on the set for “Ocho Cinco.” “I feel like it’s going to be the best album to come out in a decade.”

“It just is, I heard everybody’s album. I’m a fan of everybody, but I don’t think anybody came out with an album like this,” French reiterated as the reporter asked him to clarify his prior statements.

While Sean “Diddy” Combs and Rick Ross are co-executive producing the record through a joint venture from Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music, the “Pop That” rapper also enlists the help of Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd , Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and M.I.A. He is only waiting on a collaboration from Lana Del Ray.
