Veteran Bronx rapper Tim Dog has died. The rapper best know for the single “F-ck Compton” succumbed to complications from diabetes.

The Source reports that Tim Dog, born Tim Blair, passed away today (February 14) after suffering a seizure.

Tim Dog, born Tim Blair, dropped his debut album, Penicillin on Wax, in 1991. The album featured the aforementioned “F-ck Compton,” an incendiary song aimed directly at Compton rap act N.W.A which at the time included Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and Ice Cube.

Most recently, Tim Dog had relocated to Atlanta and was in the news for allegedly scamming women out ofthousands of dollars. Last year in June, NBC’s Dateline ran a special spotlighting a few women that allegedly were conned out of their money by Blair. They all claimed that after courting them online, Blair would  convince them to invest in a comeback album and a European tour that never manifested.

Back in 2011, Tim Dog plead guilty in Mississippi to grand larceny for racking up a 32,000 bill on Esther Pilgrim’s credit card build. Pilgrim was one of the women featured on Dateline. Since it was a plea deal, Tim Dog was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay Pilgrim back $19,000.
