French Montana is on a roll this weekend. After the Bad Boy rapper dropped the official video for “Ocho Cinco” earlier, he now lets loose the video for “Diamonds,” featuring Rick Ross and J. Cole.
MTV 2 got the premiere on the visual for the song off the Bronx, by way of Morocco, rapper’s Mac & Cheese 3 mixtape. We saw behind the scenes pics of this clip back in December so it’s been in the cooker for a minute. The treatment is pretty boilerplate as all the assembled rappers, and their buddy DJ Khaled, perform their lyrics in front of a white background while occasionally flashing their bling and sipping out of red cups.
While Mac & Cheese 3 has been out for a long minute now, Montana’s proper debut, Excuse My French, won’t be arriving in stores until May 21. While you wait on that, watch the Edgar Esteves directed video for “Diamonds” below.
