LL Cool J is considered a GOAT rapper by many and this new tour he just announced is worthy of such esteem. The “Kings of the Mic” tour will be headlined by Uncle L and also will include legendary Hip- Hop acts Ice Cube, Public Enemy and De La Soul.
Rap- Up reports that the 25-date national tour will start on May 23 at the Ava Ampitheater in Tucson, Ariz. and hit cities like Minneapolis, San Francisco and Baltimore before concluding on July 5 at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.
The tour will be right on time to promote the Queens rapper’s new album, Authentic, which is due in stores April 30. Just yesterday, the “Mama Said Knock You Out” rapper dropped the latest single from the forthcoming project titled “We Came To Party,” featuring Snoop Dogg and Fatman Scoop. Recently, LL hosted and performed at the Grammy Awards and was also spotted performing at this year’s SXSW festival.
