A new jam by Freddie Gibbs surfaced on a mixtape by DJ DNyce called #NaptownStandup that the former CTE artist hosted. Titled “The Color Purple,” listeners will hear a little Houston influence in Gangsta Gibbs’ melodic sound on the first half of the cut. The second half segues into Kirko Bangz’s “Drank In My Cup,” which the underrated MC absolutely bodies.
