Many scoffed at Stalley signing with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, but why not? Every team needs a variety of players and Stalley’s blue collar lyricism only adds to the MMG roster’s clout and depth. Now, we get a single called “Swangin,” featuring Scarface, from the Ohio rapper’s forthcoming proper album.

The former D1 basketball player keeps the subject familiar, flossing in box whips with chromes out rims and grills. The atmospheric groove sets a relaxing mood and after a couple of verses from Stalley, the legendary Scarface steps in and drops the closing bars.

Remember kiddies, these brothers are rhyming about sippin’ on that lean, but the key is moderation if you’re not going to leave that ish alone. Don’t be like Soulja Boy. No shots.

No word on when Stalley’s debut will be in stores. Until then, take a listen to “Swangin” down below and if you’re diggin’ the groove, cop it on iTunes.
