Action Bronson and Harry Fraud tend to make magic when they collaborate, and we receive another instance of such with “Compliments 2 The Chef.” Bronson takes a softer approach this time around, as compared to his last Fraud produced song “Morey Boogie Boards.” The chef turned MC paints retains his lyrical prowess by painting elaborate pictures with his witty food metaphors and a Kool G Rap inspired flow.

Songstress Lauriana Mae assists the Flushing, Queens rapper with some smooth harmonies on the chorus, which seamlessly flows with Fraud’s soulful loop and boom bap drums. Bronson very well may have dropped the perfect cut for the winter to spring transition with this one.

“Compliments 2 The Chef” will be featured on Hot 97 personality Peter Rosenberg‘s forthcoming mixtape New York Renaissance. Aside from that project, Bronson and Fraud are in the lab working on his debute, Saab Stories, which is scheduled to release some time this year.
