Many adjectives come to mind when thinking about Danny Brown, but bashful for sure isn’t one of them. His most recent drop, “Express Yourself” speaks highly to that effect, as the snaggletoothed rapper directs this at “all the ladies that like to turn up and have fun.”
Brown says the track was inspired by Diplo and Major Lazer, despite a clear trap influence. The song was produced by Trampy, and is the trifecta of a recent spree of solid records from the Detroit native. At the moment, it’s unclear if these recent releases will appear on Brown’s upcoming album Old.
