Talib Kweli ft. Miguel – “Come Here” [LISTEN/DOWNLOAD]

Despite receiving heat from the Hip-Hop feminists massive after taking Rick Ross to task, Talib Kweli drops a new joint squarely aimed at the ladies. “Come Here,” featuring Miguel, is from the the Brooklyn MC’s forthcoming Prisoner Of Conscious album.

Over a breezy beat Kweli flows fluidly to lyrically serenade a woman. “You on a higher vibration, that’s why I f-ck with you, let me provide, you be comfortable as a Huxtable/You’re whole style is colder than Minnesota, I love the profile the way you look over shoulders/At the crib I’m hoping you come over, we can do it like Common and Mary in ‘Come Closer,’ we can do it like Barack and Michelle, gimme a fist bump,” spits the rapper born Talib Kweli Greene.

R&B crooner Miguel comes through with syrupy vocals on the hook and the bridge to complete the cipher. Definitely a dope cut that doesn’t come off as the corny “love track” in the rap album blueprint.

Prisoner Of Conscious will finally be in stores April 23 via his own Javotti Records. Listen to “Come Here” below.
