Just to be clear, you don’t listen to Gunplay if your seeking righteous political rhymes or lovey dovey rap songs. That said, the Human L.A. Riot drops a video for “Pyrex.”
You should know what to expect off this song’s title alone. If not, we get the Maybach Music Group rapper excitedly and emphatically rapping about his talents at cooking up that work. And we’re not talking Lil B. “I’m next jumping out the Pyrex,” goes the song’s chorus. “I’m crooked, I’m cooking up a cookie, my turn, now watch the fire burn.”
Earlier this year, Gunplay dropped his Cops & Robbers mixtape. But Don Logan’s career almost hit a big hiccup thanks to armed robbery charges that had him facing a life sentence if convicted. However, the case was dismissed in late February.
No word on when the Carol City Miami representing rapper’s Def Jam debut, Medellin, will be in stores. Watch the Gunplay and Justin Petrone-directed video for “Pyrex” below.
