Why can’t OG rap groups ever get along? Earlier this week, Treach of Naughty By Nature fired fellow group member Vin Rock via Twitter. After comments from Vinnie and a diss track from Treach, the latter went on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Friday morning (May 10) to spill more tea about the team’s issues.
After Vinnie said you can’t fire the boss, via Twitter, Treach then dropped a harsh diss track called “Tall Midget.” The “Uptown Anthem” rapper pretty much kept the slander going during the interview, with Kay Gee also tagging along to say ish ain’t been sweet for the New Jersey trio for a long while.
“[It’s] been in the making for a while, every relationship tries to stick it through the hard times, the good times but sometimes you gotta just do your own thing,” said Treach. “You know our kids is grown now, you last it out for the kids sometimes.”
