No matter your opinions on his music, you have to appreciate 2 Chainz for his story. Last year, we witnessed the Atlanta native transform from rap underdog into one of the hottest artists in the game. His major label debut Based on a T.R.U. Story featured two undeniable hits in “No Lie” and “Birthday Song,” he was nominated for a Grammy, and continues to move units on the charts.
Late last night, Tity Boi went to the forum for all grand announcements, Twitter, to reveal that he has more up he sleeve. “FEATURES ON HAULT… NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY SEPTEMBER TENTH!!!!,” tweeted the “Spend It” rapper.
And with that announcement, we know to expect another body of work from 2 Chainz on September 10. With Kanye West gearing up to release Yeezus June 18 and Pusha T prepping his solo effort My Name Is My Name, it could be a very G.O.O.D. summer.
