After letting his single “Swangin” marinate on the Internets for a bit, Stalley returned to his hometown of Massillon, Ohio Friday to shoot the visual treatment.

The video features a few of the rapper’s staples, including vintage cars, fresh sneakers, and his affinity for Ohio sportswear. As expected, MMG cohorts Rick Ross, Rockie Fresh and Omarion made a cameo appearance.

Unfortunately, Stalley saw a minor setback after he was denied filming privileges at his alma mater school Washington High due to his lyrical content.

Local superintendent Rik Goodright issued a statement, saying “As part of the Massillon community, the district appreciates that Kyle Myricks (Stalley) continues to show Massillon pride through his work and frequent visits to his hometown.

“However, because of the nature of some of his lyrics, we feel it is in our best interest to decline the use of our facilities. As a school district, we must think of our students and parents first, many of whom are concerned about student safety. ”

Things happen, but the show must go on. With that, Stalley traveled to Houston to shoot the final portion with legendary MC Scarface, who contributed a verse to the track. All facts considered, the vid looks very smooth and we’ll be checking for the final product. See photos in the gallery below.
