A$AP Ferg has showed hints of star potential on guest appearances and his standout track “Work.” These brief stints in the spotlight have fans eagerly anticipating the young rapper’s debut project Trap Lord. After multiple push backs, the mixtape finally receives a formal release date.

Fergenstein sat with Miss Info after performing on Summer Jam’s festival stage, and revealed that the tape will hit the Internets August 20. Given the time that it’s taken to release, it’ll be difficult to gauge which previously released tracks — if any — will appear on the tracklist.

A diss directed at G.O.O.D. Music’s first lady Teyana Taylor also added a bit of controversy to the A$AP Mob member’s his first Summer Jam appearance. “Who you know who got big t*ts – Teyana,” Ferg rapped. “Sucked on ’em when I lived out in Harlem/ Got signed back Pharrell and started acting like a prima donna.”

VIBE reports that A$AP Rocky denied any prior relations between Ferg and Taylor.
